Our story
The real knives. The real story. Finally here.
After years of fighting counterfeiters who stole our name and sold fakes under it — we took it back. This is the only official Huusk store.
THE REAL HUUSK
We had to fight to put this store online.
Hi — I'm Damon, and before you browse, there's something I want you to know.
For years, someone else was using our name. They owned our domain. They sold cheap knock-offs to real people who thought they were getting the real thing — and left them disappointed. We watched it happen, and there was nothing we could do. Until there was.
We took it to court. We won.
If you've ever bought a "Huusk" product before and been let down — that wasn't us. This is us. This is the only official Huusk store, and honestly,
we're just glad you found it.
HOW HUUSK BEGAN
A three-hour argument in a forge.
I've always been obsessed with food — not the Michelin-star kind, just the
Tuesday-night kind where you actually care about getting it right.
A few years ago I was traveling through Seki, Japan — the city where serious
blades are made. Through a mutual friend, I ended up in the workshop of
Kenji Morimoto, a fourth-generation bladesmith. His family has been forging
steel in that same city for over a hundred years.
We argued about knives for three hours. Then we agreed on everything that mattered.
Huusk is what came out of that conversation — Kenji's hand-forging tradition, our US design team that actually cooks, and one shared belief: a great kitchen knife doesn't need to be expensive. It just needs to be made right.
A good knife doesn't need explaining. You pick it up, and you know.
— Damon, Founder & CEO of Huusk
